Associated Press
SAN FRANCISCO — Three people jumped out the windows of two neighboring apartment buildings to escape a fire that also injured two other residents on Sunday, authorities said.
The blaze in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury district scorched three apartments and required 110 city firefighters to bring it under control, said Lt. Earl Shuholm of the San Francisco Fire Department.
Shuholm said the fire, reported at 11:22 a.m. and extinguished by noon, caused roughly $275,000 in damage.
