Sportscaster Jim Hill has been hired away from Channel 2 by Channel 7, it was confirmed at a KABC news conference Tuesday. Hill will be the No. 1 sportscaster on the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. news shows, beginning Monday. Ted Dawson will remain at Channel 7 as a sports reporter.
