Two prison escapees from Georgia were captured in Imperial County near the Arizona border after a shoot-out with U.S. Border Patrol agents. Mark H. Orlander, 26, serving time for armed robbery, was shot in the face and elbow by agents. Anthony Leon Gray, 30, imprisoned for burglary, suffered a superficial bullet wound in the leg. The shooting began after an agent became suspicious of their car and radioed another agent, who stopped them on Interstate 8.
