Body of Woman Found
The body of an unidentified woman who had been shot in the head was discovered Monday night in a field about half a mile north of California 117 and half a mile west of Heritage Road, San Diego police reported.
The body was spotted about 8 p.m. Monday by Border Patrol agents in a helicopter scanning the area for undocumented workers, Police Sgt. Chuck Sleeper said.
