Rosemead Teacher Pact Approved

The Rosemead School District and the Rosemead Teachers Assn. have reached a tentative agreement on salaries for the 1986-87 school year.
Teachers will receive a 5% increase retroactive to Feb. 1. The district had offered 5% retroactive to May 1 and the teachers had asked for 6% retroactive to Feb. 1.
The agreement was recommended by an independent fact-finding panel, a district spokesman said.
