Architect Title

For many months I have noticed that the real estate section has been assiduously avoiding the title “architect” in its reference to the design of a building and/or a project, although mentioning the name of the “designer”.
And Sam Hall Kaplan has been avoiding the term architect, except when he has a pejorative statement about the profession as a whole.
Please use this title (architect and/or AIA) when referring to the designer of the project (if in fact he/she/firm is an architect and/or AIA). The proper use of the title architect will educate the public as to the difference between an architect and one who designs illegally in our state when not licensed as an architect.
