27 Killed in Bus Plunge

SRINAGAR, India — A bus skidded off a mountain road Saturday in the Himalayan state of Jammu and Kashmir and rolled to the bottom of a 500-foot gorge, killing at least 27 people and seriously injuring 40 others, police said.
