Development in San Clemente
I have lived in San Clemente since 1949 and have seen a lot of changes. Never have we had such a fine opportunity as the Lusk Co. is offering our community.
We can only win with this development. Not only will San Clemente be the home of the prestigious Nixon Library and the educational advantages of the Chapman Institute, we will also have beautiful parks, bike trails, walk areas and an ocean vista beyond compare.
Let’s put San Clemente on the map! If we must sacrifice a canyon and a half-mile of original bluff which will be terraced and open for all to enjoy, let’s do it!
We owe it to ourselves, our families and friends to be concerned with large revenues, employment opportunities and educational experiences which will benefit all.
I urge all members of the City Council and Planning Commission to act with expediency and work with Lusk Co. to pass the proposed Marblehead Coastal Plan so they can start construction as soon as possible.
