Anaheim : Short Causes $560,000 Fire at Label Company
An electrical short in a water heater started a fire that caused more than half a million dollars in damage at the California Pacific Label Co. on West Lincoln Avenue early Monday, Anaheim Fire Department Investigator Don Penfield said.
The fire began about 12:45 a.m. and was extinguished by about 20 firefighters in 30 minutes, Penfield said. No one was inside the building when the fire started, he said.
Damage to equipment and inventory was estimated at $500,000. The building sustained about $60,000 in damage, Penfield said.
