Saving Pets From Fireworks
The Animal Assistance League of Orange County wants to remind pet owners to keep their animals inside and away from neighborhood fireworks noises during the week of the Fourth of July. More pets are lost at this time of year than at any other. About 80% of the pets that arrive at the shelter have no identification tags, and this means that they are held as little as three days. Older pets are seldom put up for adoption.
Help protect their life and your peace of mind during the Fourth of July holidays with current license and ID tag. Call the league’s help line, (714) 978-PETS, if you’ve lost or found a pet.
