Three track and field athletes filed a lawsuit against Nike that claims their contracts to wear shoes and clothing were improperly canceled.
The federal lawsuit was filed on behalf of Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis, Johnny Gray, David Mack and the Santa Monica Track Club.
The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages and $1 million in punitive damages for each athlete.
