The New York Rangers have acquired left wing Brian Mullen from the Winnipeg Jets in a trade involving the swap of three National Hockey League draft picks.
The Rangers got Mullen and the Jets’ 10th-round pick in the 1987 draft for New York’s fifth-round selection in 1988 and third-round pick in 1989. This year’s draft will be held Saturday at Detroit.
