Hewlett-Packard Co., Palo Alto, elected Douglas C. Chance, currently senior vice president-business systems sector, and Lewis E. Platt, senior vice president-technical systems sector, to the positions of executive vice president.
H-P also promoted James L. Arthur, director-U.S. field operations, and Robert P. Wayman, chief financial officer, to senior vice presidents. In addition, Dieter Hoehn, general manager of the company’s analytical group, was named a vice president.
