Garden Grove : Man’s Body Found in Apparent Slaying
- Share via
The body of a man believed to be a homicide victim was discovered in a locked bedroom Sunday after police were called to the residence because of a strong odor, Garden Grove police said.
The man’s identity was not released pending notification of relatives, said Lt. Scott Hamilton. The man was an adult Latino, he said.
The victim’s body was found about 9:45 a.m. after police received a telephone call reporting an odor from a bedroom of a duplex in the 13500 block of Robin Court, Hamilton said.
The condition of the man’s body, which was partially decomposed, made it difficult for investigators to determine the cause of death. Police were uncertain whether the man died of gunshot wounds or had been bludgeoned, Hamilton said.
An autopsy has been scheduled for today.
