Several broadcast groups--including ABC, CBS and NBC--have asked the Federal Communications Commission to reconsider its broadened standard for regulating indecency over the airwaves. In a petition filed with the FCC Friday, the groups said the standard is “vague and overbroad” and the agency has given broadcasters “no meaningful guidance as to what constitutes indecency under that standard.”
