Baseball Commissioner Peter Ueberroth’s office has asked to see a court file that mentions the Oakland Athletics in connection with an alleged juvenile prostitution ring in St. Paul, Minn.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press Dispatch said the request followed a report that police were investigating allegations that several local businessmen helped supply teenage prostitutes to friends and associates.
