Beastie Boy Adam Horowitz was released on $16,000 bail Monday in Liverpool after his arrest Saturday for causing “grievous bodily harm” to a 20-year-old woman at the brat-rappers’ concert. The 20-year-old Horowitz--who performs by the name of King Ad-Rock--allegedly threw a can of beer into the audience during the concert, which struck Joanne Clarke, who suffered facial cuts and bruises. Five people were injured during the concert. Horowitz’s father, writer Israel, appeared in court with his son, who sat quietly during the 15-minute hearing. The judge rejected a prosecution request that Horowitz surrender his passport pending trial. He is expected to leave for Japan on the next stage of the Beastie Boys’ world tour.
