Lawn Mowers Recalled in South Over Safety Issue

WASHINGTON — High Wheel “Champ” lawn mowers sold in Mississippi and Louisiana are being recalled because they fail to meet federal safety standards, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Wednesday. The manufacturer, Brister’s Thunder Karts Inc., has agreed to modify the mowers, the agency said.
