A black woman filed the deed to the headquarters of one of the nation’s largest Ku Klux Klan groups, awarded to her as reparation for the murder of her teen-aged son by two klansmen. “We just believe that will be essentially a death blow to this klan group,” said Bill Stanton, head of the Klan Watch Project of the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Ala., that represented Beulah Mae Donald. Stanton said no decision had been made regarding sale of the property, valued at $250,000. An all-white U.S. District Court jury in Mobile, Ala., awarded $7 million in damages to Donald Feb. 12 as a result of the 1981 murder of her son, Michael, 19.
