Putnam Homers Twice for Japanese Team

TOKYO — Former major league player Pat Putnam hit two home runs Sunday, including a grand slam, to lead the Nippon Ham Fighters to a 16-2 Japanese League victory over the Kintetsu Buffaloes.
Putnam has five home runs this year.
