The State : Pedaling Peddlers of Heroin Arrested

Three boys, ages 11, 13 and 14, were arrested in San Jose on charges of delivering heroin, sometimes by bicycle. Police said the three youngsters--two brothers and a cousin--apparently took their delivery orders from adults and viewed the drug deals as routine. The three were taken into custody in a raid on their home and held at Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall. The mother of two of them, Anna Marie Buendia, 29, also was arrested and booked for investigation of suspicion of child endangerment, police said.
