Roots in the East
I was very glad to read James H. Lavenson’s article on Maine April 12. Although I have practiced law in Los Angeles for 22 years my roots are in the East, where I practiced law for some time. More importantly, I have a cottage on Sebago Lake near Naples to which I repair each summer. His reminiscences closely accord with mine and, having read his article, I cannot wait for the next flight to Portland. Thanks for the breath of literary fresh air.
