HIGH SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS : Chellevold Leads Thousand Oaks

Julie Chellevold had five hits and drove in three runs as the Thousand Oaks softball team pounded St. Joseph, 8-1, to complete a sweep of the nonleague doubleheader Saturday.
Jamie Heggen, who was 4 for 7 and had four RBIs on the day, hit her fifth home run and a run-scoring triple to lead Thousand Oaks (18-6) to a 7-0 win in the first game.
SOFTBALL
Michelle Sinclair (3-0) walked seven but allowed only three hits as La Reina defeated Connelly, 2-0, to win the consolation championship of the Carpinteria Tournament. Sherri Sisco of La Reina (12-5) doubled to extend her hitting streak to 10 games.
