KRIS KROSS
Robert Hilburn is amazed that Kris Kristofferson will work in a small club (“Kristofferson’s Latest Obsession: Politics,” April 26). I think he’s lucky to work in any club.
Sure, his songs are good; but there are thousands of songs out there, equally good, that just never get the chance to be heard.
I can’t help but feel that someone like K.K., who is the recipient of such great boons from this country, is so quick to side with critics. The truly amazing thing is that he gets acting jobs.
He makes Pee-wee Herman look like Laurence Olivier.
