Ray Knight of the Baltimore Orioles remained in a Kansas City hospital with a concussion suffered during a ninth-inning force play Tuesday night against the Royals. He was listed in satisfactory condition.

Knight either hit his head on the ground or was accidentally hit in the head and Adam’s apple by Royals shortstop Buddy Biancalana’s knee, Baltimore Manager Cal Ripken said.
