Two questions about the animal remains found in Lakewood (Times, April 17):
What do we say about the ethics of a people who are outraged when dogs seem to be the victims but mollified by the news that they were wild coyotes?
What do we think of the sensitivities of a society that is offended by the dumping of these mutilated carcasses within 150 yards of an occupied dwelling (and deems it is a misdemeanor) while condoning the ultra-cruel and inhumane use of steel traps for capture?
