American will relocate only 300 AirCal employees.

Most of the workers to be transferred when the merger of the two airlines’ operations is completed on July 1 will be from AirCal’s corporate headquarters in Newport Beach. The rest of the regional carrier’s 3,700 employees are expected to move into jobs at American facilities where they already work. The majority of the relocated employees will be transferred to American’s headquarters in Fort Worth, an American Airlines spokesman said.
