Walesa Completes His Autobiography

WARSAW — Solidarity leader Lech Walesa said Monday that he has completed his autobiography but did not reveal when or where it would be published.
Walesa, the shipyard electrician who won the 1983 Nobel Peace Prize for his leadership of the now-outlawed Solidarity independent trade union, said he originally offered the manuscript to a Polish publishing house. But he said it would probably appear first in the West because of Polish censorship.
