“Elton John Live in Australia with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra” will be released in July, marking the return of the 40-year-old English singer-pianist to MCA Records after a seven-year fling with Geffen Records. It was with that label that the flamboyant John had such such hits as “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and “Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy,” the first album to enter the Billboard charts at No. 1.
