Lakers Begin a Three-Game Trip Tonight When They Face SuperSonics at Seattle
SEATTLE — The Lakers, their countdown to the end of the regular season at 10, will begin a three-game trip here tonight with a game against the Seattle SuperSonics, who are still jockeying for position in the Western Conference playoffs.
From here, the Lakers will go to Portland to play the Trail Blazers Friday night, and then to Denver for a Sunday game against the Nuggets.
Magic Johnson was recognized as the league’s best player in March after posting the following numbers: 21.7 points a game, 14.6 assists, and 6.8 rebounds. Johnson shot 59% from the floor and 82% from the line during the month.
