10 Die in Norway Plane Crash

OSLO, Norway — A Norwegian commuter plane crashed and exploded shortly before its scheduled landing in southern Norway today, killing the eight passengers and crew of two aboard, police said.
The twin-engine Beech 90, flying Norwegians from Hanover, West Germany, crashed at about 5:30 p.m. five miles from its destination, Skien Airport. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
