USD Gets Win Over Massachusetts, 10-7

SAN DIEGO — Robbie Rogers’ two-run single keyed a four-run first inning that helped carry the University of San Diego to a 10-7 nonconference college baseball victory over Massachusetts Monday at USD.
The Toreros (17-9) got a two-run single from Chris Bwy in the third inning that opened a 7-1 lead.
Pat Fitzsimons (3-0) pitched the first five innings, allowing three runs. Kevin Muller pitched the final four innings, allowing four runs (one earned), for the save. Massachusetts is 0-2.
