Orange : Man Jailed After Police Find Drug Laboratory
A 34-year-old Orange man was arrested Friday night on suspicion of operating a narcotics manufacturing laboratory in the garage of his apartment, police said Saturday.
Officers responding to a report of a domestic dispute at about 9 p.m. Friday allegedly found the laboratory equipment and chemicals used to manufacture crystallized methamphetamine in the garage of an apartment in the 700 block of North Glassell Street, said Sgt. John Higley.
Police arrested Stephen Billinghurst, 34, on suspicion of possessing and manufacturing methamphetamines, Higley said. He is being held at Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
