Point Loma Nazarene Wins, 80-71

Dawayne Burton had 26 points and 14 rebounds to lead Point Loma Nazarene College to an 80-71 victory over Bartlesville-Wesleyan College of Oklahoma in the first round of the National Christian College Athletic Assn. tournament in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Dave Davis scored 15 points and Greg Lanthier added 13 for Point Loma (23-10), which led the entire game. Point Loma advances to Saturday’s semifinal game against Lee College of Tennessee or Bethel College of Indiana. Danny Scott had 21 points to lead Bartlesville-Wesleyan (17-16).
