Mexico and Peru to Join in Anti-Narcotics Drive

MEXICO CITY — Mexico and Peru plan to set up a commission to lead a common effort against narcotics traffic and use, the government newspaper El Nacional reported Thursday.
The agreement calls for establishment of common practices and standards for extraditing suspects in drug-related crimes and, where appropriate, confiscating property of those convicted in such crimes, the newspaper said.
