Culver City : Enrollment Up at College
Enrollment at West Los Angeles College has increased to 8,322 students, a 37% increase from last year, according to Mary Jo Reid, vice president of academic affairs.
She said the increase in students stems from a recruitment campaign, programs for high school and foreign students and specialized programs including the Program for Adult College Education, the “Weekend College,” the small-business programs and classes on the college’s airport campus.
