Mead 2-Hitter Paces Moorpark Softball Win
Karen Mead threw a two-hitter and her Moorpark College teammates scored six runs in the first two innings to defeat Pierce, 6-0, in the Western State Conference softball opener for both teams Wednesday at Pierce.
Mead struck out 10 and walked three.
