Reynoso Named to Education Panel
Former state Supreme Court Justice Cruz Reynoso was appointed to the California Postsecondary Commission by Assembly Speaker Willie Brown (D-San Francisco.)
Reynoso, 55, was denied confirmation last November by voters along with Chief Justice Rose Elizabeth Bird and Associate Justice Joseph Grodin.
The commission is an advisory body to the Legislature and the governor. It is responsible for planning, evaluating and coordinating the direction of higher education.
Reynoso, who practices law in Los Angeles, will receive $50 a meeting. His term expires Dec. 31, 1992.
