The Great U2 Concert Ticket Announcement was made by Avalon Attractions on Wednesday. The facts and figures: The shows will be at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on April 17, 18 and 20, and tickets will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster outlets only (that includes phone orders). Tickets will not be available through the Sports Arena box office. There’s a limit of four tickets per customer, and lineups before 6 a.m. Saturday will be prohibited. The Irish rock group’s only other scheduled Southern California dates are sold-out shows at the San Diego Sports Arena April 13 and 14, but the off-days on the band’s itinerary leave open the possibility of at least two more L.A. shows being added.
