Burbank Is MVP in Orange League

Dennis Burbank, a senior center who averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds for Valencia High School, has been named the Orange League’s most valuable player by league coaches.
Tiger Coach Ray Rodriguez, who guided Valencia to the league tri-championship with Brea-Olinda and Magnolia, was named coach of the year. Magnolia, which advanced to the quarterfinals of the Southern Section 3-A playoffs, placed three players on the first team.
