The largest advance sale of tickets in Broadway history guarantees the musical “Les Miserables” a long run, even if the reviews are as mixed as when it premiered at the Royal Shakespeare Company in London. The play is scheduled to open Thursday at the Broadway Theatre. Advance sales have reached $11 million, a spokesman for the show said, topping the $6.2 advance sales for “Cats” in 1983.
