Certainly the off-season behavior of some of the New York Mets has been shameful. But should George Steinbrenner of all people, joke that the entire team is wearing “jailstripes.”?
After all, Mr. Steinbrenner is unique in major league sports. He is the only owner who is a convicted felon.
