Palm Beach, Fla., voters reelected as mayor an incumbent who traces her roots to French kings over a challenger descended from the last of Russia’s czars. Two-term Mayor Yvelyne de Marcellus Marix, 61, swept past Paul Romanoff Ilyinsky, 59, a Town Council member for the last six years. Unofficial returns in the hotly contested race for the two-year, unpaid position showed Marix with 2,689 votes to 1,668 votes for Ilyinsky.
