Detectives from the Southside Serial Killer Task Force were called out to look into the deaths of two unidentified young women whose bodies were found dumped in Monterey Park and Lynwood. Although the task force will continue to monitor both cases, authorities said there was no evidence to connect the two cases with the murders of 17 victims544566884investigative team. The badly decomposed body of a partially clothed Latino woman in her early 20s was spotted in underbrush 20 feet down an embankment just off Interstate 10 in Monterey Park. The fully clothed body of a black woman, also in her early 20s, was discovered in a vacant lot in Lynwood near Imperial Highway and Fernwood Avenue. Autopsies will be performed to determine the cause of death in each case.
