A 7-month-old girl underwent her third liver transplant in less than a month, a spokeswoman at the University of Chicago’s Wyler Children’s Hospital said. “They said she had a real good chance this time around,” said Shirley LaRocco, whose daughter, Meghann, re1667590518the stress of the third transplant,” LaRocco said. The hospital representative said that Meghann was in critical condition but doing as well as could be expected. The infant, who was born with biliary atresia, had unsuccessful transplants on Nov. 29 and late last week.
