A 79-year-old San Diego man died Sunday afternoon of injuries suffered in a two-car collision Nov. 23.
Grover C. Brooks of North Park died in Mercy Hospital of complications after massive chest injuries in the accident, said Chuck Bolton, a deputy coroner.
The collision occurred at Palm and 32nd streets. Brooks, who was southbound on 32nd, collided with a northbound car when Brooks attempted to turn left onto Palm, Bolton said.
Erica Young of North Park, the driver of the other car, suffered head injuries and also was admitted to the hospital. She was later released.
