Michael Sergio, the parachutist who dropped in on a World Series game, was fined $500 and sentenced to 100 hours of community service by a rhyming judge in New York.
“So a week before Christmas, here in the court, I sentence defendant for interrupting a sport,” Criminal Court Judge Phyllis Flug ruled.
“Community service and a fine you will pay.
“Happy holiday to all. And to all a good day.”
Sergio was charged with criminal trespassing for landing in Shea Stadium with a “Let’s Go, Mets” banner during the sixth game.
