In North Dakota, searchers on horseback found the frozen body of 13-year-old John Robertson, who apparently lost his way in a blizzard eight days ago, police said. Six inches of snow fell on Stampede Pass, Wash., and snow fell in the northern Rockies, Great Lakes and parts of the Northeast.
