Portland State 41, Santa Clara 14--Quarterback Chris Crawford completed 19 passes for 362 yards and three touchdowns to lead Portland State at home. Crawford threw two of his touchdown passes in the first half as Portland State took a 24-6 halftime advantage.
The win tied Portland State (6-3 overall) with Cal State Sacramento for the WFC lead. Both teams have 4-1 league marks. Santa Clara is 2-6, 2-3 in conference.
