Ground has been broken on the first phase of Canyon Ridge Business Park, a $39-million mixed-use project in San Diego County’s Sorrento Mesa.
Phase 1 calls for the construction of two buildings with a total of 115,316 square feet of office or research-and-development space in the 9400 block of Carroll Park Drive. Completion is expected on May 1.
The entire development is master planned for 320,000 square feet of space. Build-out is expected in 1990.
Canyon Ridge Business Park is a joint venture of Newport Beach-based Hillman Properties West Inc. and Cal Fed Income Properties of Los Angeles. San Diego’s Hannah-Gillard Co. is general contractor for the first phase, and Carli Architecture of San Diego is designer.
